It was obviously NOT taken care of and now you' ve got what will most likely be a money pit.
Perhaps it might be better to cut your losses now.
We have a 2021 Keystone Cougar 368 MBI with a mid bunkhouse and we love it. Master bdrm in front and rear living room.
Also as you go up the stairs to the bedroom there is a loft the is at least 8ft long and 6 ft wide. Our oldest son who is 6' 1 actually prefers it to the bed in the bunkhouse...
If you do indeed go with an auxiliary trans cooler, do not bypass the original cooler in the radiator. Many trans coolers don't have enough cooling capacity to do away with the radiator cooling.
That 12v unit might work if it was on a van in Norway where it doesn't get hot.
Try one of those units in the southwest on a 100°+ day and it would be like an oven inside.
I carry the toolbox from my garage that contains way too much stuff and weighs over 80lbs.
Luckily I've very rarely needed the tools in it but those few times I would have been in deep doo doo if I didn't have them.
OP-Unless you bought the unit sight unseen you should have been able to see most if not all the problems you listed on your walk-through.
And it is NOT the salesman's' responsibility to make sure you have the right vehicle to tow it with, that is on you.
Ridiculous. All modern computer controlled engines including the one in the video have sensors for all the things the person in the video mentions. The computer will not allow the engine to destroy itself. It will shut down the engine BEFORE anything happens.
