    Generator Problem

The only way for gas to get to the filter, is if the float stuck or the needle & seat failed allowing too much gas in to the carburetor bowl. Richard

    Diesel vs gas

I've had the opportunity to own a really nice Blue Bird Wanderlodge, for a really great price. But when I figured in maintenance costs of a diesel coach verses the cost of a Gas coach. Well we just kept fueling up the old F53 Bounder. Richard

92 Fleetwood Flair with 454 no power issue and getting worse

I would suspect that the sock on the fuel pump is getting crud on it and reducing fuel flow. When the engine is shut off the crud drops off and allows fuel flow for a short period of time. Richard

This is the route I would use. I live in Gladstone, MO. SW to NE I435 around the east side of KC is also a option. Richard

    Help with Suburban SF-35 furnace.

Yeah! I finally found the problem. The connector that plugs into the control board was the issue. The connector has curved connectors that slide on to the circuit board.. Over 29 years the connectors had lost some of their curve, causing an intermittent connection. I carry a denial pick that I...

    Help with Suburban SF-35 furnace.

I took the furnace out and inspected the ignitor. It was in good shape and located properly. I did find a small mud dobber nest in the combustion fan housing. I wouldn't think the small nest would cause a lockout issue. We shall see. Also, I recently hook a manometer to the propane system and...

    Help with Suburban SF-35 furnace.

On occasion my furnace will lock out and not refire until I remove the furnace fuse for 5-10 seconds and reinstall. The sail switch is functional. The thermostat is sending the proper signal on demand. It does have a Dinosaur control board. All else is OEM. Thanks for your thoughts. Richard

    SeilerBird

SeilerBird, thank you for you post about the Bilaro electric razor. Up on your advice I purchased one. As you noted, it shaves closely. It is far more comfortable than my old Norelco. What I didn't think about, until I was on the road, was the USB power supply. Which makes it far better that the...

    Electronic critter chasers

Guess that depends on where you live. In Missouri, you can kill an animal if it is endangering you life or PROPERTY. Even if it's an endangered species. I had endangered wood peckers making holes in the side of my house. There was nothing the Game Commission could do when I shot them with my...

    Generator kills main engine battery

Gary, Most Onan generators use the house batteries for starter, control circuit, fuel pump and spark for gas generators. They do not provide there own 12 volts. Then the 120 volts to the converter keep the house batteries charged. I suggest the OP may have a converter problem. Richard
