Great comments, appreciated to all. I think I’ll skip the truck wash and do it by hand on a nice sunny day. I didn’t know about the “etch” stuff either. I was also concerned about the vents (hot water, frig propane etc) and the power wash affacting it. Thanks!

There is a local truck wash for the 18 wheelers that I’m thinking of using for our 28’ class A. Our rig is only 3 years old and stored indoors. I’m considering doing the wash at the beginning and end of the season. Any thoughts or potential issues I should look out for?

You should book a site at Farragut state park, it’s really beautiful there. We just finished booking our sites there for the summer, usually a 3 day stay each month. If you do it, look for the Gilmore site which is perfect for bigger rigs and has full hook ups.

I agree with the above. We are in Coeur d Alene with a class A and have traveled that area extensively, route 200 and I 90. I’d pick I 90, stay in the right lane and enjoy the trip. The mountain passes are fine, like the previous poster said, watch your downhill speed and you should be fine.
