In my considerable experience with online forums, most people who announce their intention to leave are seeking attention. They want people to plead with them not to leave. If you really intend to leave, obviously you don't care, so just be gone.

You're in LA. Just do the homeless thing. Much cheaper than any RV option and likely as comfortable.
