    Too cold

Thanks, you're right. Upon inspection that is the black down arrow seen at a slight angle. Sorry for the mis-direction.

    Gunk Remover

That sure appears to be silicone sealant, which attracts mold/mildew. The easy removal is mix a few oz bleach into your wash water when washing the RV; or mix a solution of bleach/water in a spray bottle and spritz the mold/mildew areas. For that big patch area, I agree with the WD40 cleaning...

    12 Volt Fridge freezer

operating a 120V fridge from battery power equates to-say, 1.3A 120V fridge draws 13A from the battery, conversion factor of 10. When the compressor is running. Boondocking is where an LP absorption refrigerator shines. Otherwise one needs a lot of solar generating power.

    Too cold

I don't know how to do that. What I perceive to be a gap is to the right of the aluminum fins, on the fridge wall . It appears as a tapered black line in your picture.

    P30 chassis electric diagram

re: the battery disconnect switch. I try to use the terms closed/open when discussing this switch, as on/off is very confusing.

    1996 Terry No Hot Water

Welcome to the discussion forums! There might be a check valve on the heater hot outlet pipe that's stuck shut, or another valve in its place.

    TIRE BRAND SUGGESTIONS

I bought Sailun Truck tires in 2017, before they became well-known in the lower 48. They were already a tried and true brand in Canada. They have performed as well-or better than the Goodyear G670 tires they replaced. In 2017 I bought 6 275R75/22.5" LR H tires, mounted, balanced and installed for...

    Spartan Chassis Airbag Failures

Nope, each air spring is a sealed unit. Both mounting plates have 4 threaded bolt holes for mounting. The upper plate has an additional threaded hole for compressed air in/out. So mounting bolts loose does not create a leak. Oh, you said air bag, that's a different animal.

    Post a joke

You're right. the smallest sailboat I've ever been on was a 60' schooner.

    Too cold

Do I see a gap on the right wall? If it is, it might be allowing enough warm air into the area to be "fooling" the thermister into transmitting a false warmer temperature reading to the PC board.

    Spartan Chassis Airbag Failures

Your pictures, to me, show a mis-alignment of at least 1" between top mounting plate and bottom mounting plate. A small plumb-bob should confirm the actual distance. I have a Clinometer app on my phone that will display actual angles/degrees of level/plumb too.

    20 Some New Projects

I finally got back to your thread. That is an outstanding installation, and very professional in design and installation. Congratulations! Now I understand the necessity of exterior vents. I had forgotten the basic principle, the result of work is heat.

    Removing door for wheelchair access

I agree with Dutch's assessment. That doesn't appear to be a load-bearing wall, so removing the entire panel shouldn't affect structural strength. If privacy is needed, a simple full-length curtain hung on a standard curtain rod should suffice.

    DIY oil change on DP

I totally agree Gary; one doesn't get a second chance when 30,000 lbs. drops on them. That's why I made the effort to build my wood ramps, even with air springs deflated I have plenty of room underneath. It's been about 20 years ago now since an RV tech in N. Indiana was suffocated when the DP...
