Is the electric element turned on as well? If the electric element keeps the water hot enough the propane will not come on.

I have confirmed it is the EMS. I took it out of the system and the AC will run on the generator.

John; this AC unit starts the fan before the compressor. No other loads were on. The generator will start the compressor if I bypass the EMS so I think that is what I will have to do

The alternative is to get a bigger generator.

Gary; it is the Hughes PWD30-EPO. It shows E-1 voltage error. The generator is not cutting its circuit breaker so I think it is the Watchdog reacting to a momentary low voltage. I think I will switch to a pedestal mounted version so that when using the generator it is not in the loop.
