Don’t mean to keep it secret. My repair guy said he fixed all and did explain to me the basics of what he had done. Part of issue was slider on the thermostat which he fixed.

Madison WI to Elkhart IN avoiding Chicago?

I’m back and forth on occasion from the loop to northwest Indiana. You have to go thru the city to get to the Indiana toll road (I 90), but it’s lightly traveled from the southern part of Dan Ryan and on to the east. Costs a bundle but less traffic than the Borman 80-94. All that being said...

The propane tank is empty, so no, I haven’t tried to light the stove nor the hot water heater. Tried a mobile rv tech and he’s swamped.

Furnace runs till out of propane

RV is not new to me. Owned it since new in 2015. Started last fall after I had run the furnace then winterized and parked in driveway. Yes, I ignored it in true fashion because “it’ll go away” and yes, the propane did, and the ole “I’ll tackle this later” which is now now. : -( I had a...

Furnace runs till out of propane

To clarify: yes, the propane is off at the permanently affixed tank and there is no cross-over since there’s only one tank. And yes, it’s the furnace that continues to run, and blows warm air since the “off” at the thermostat is nearest the lowest setting. I’m suspecting a leaky valve...

Even though my Suburban furnace is in the off position (the temperature slider), it runs till I’m out of propane. And yes, the propane is off at the tank. Where do I start looking?

    So much for Lazy Days…

I very much agree with all that is said. I was just surprised no emails, no direct mail, of come visit us! Here’s our new location and a coupon. And understandably Elkhart is the heart of RV here in Indiana. Bottom line —corporate, no matter the business, is after the buck.,

    So much for Lazy Days…

LazyDays? Too lazy to care? Just learned yesterday Lazy Days “Chicago” office which is in Burns Harbor, Indiana moved everything to Elkhart in October. No warning, nothing zip zero nada from customer service, no heads up to us who use them. So much for corporate concerns. Bought CampLand a...

    Post a joke

Years ago we had the ”Norman Rockwell” Thanksgiving of the whole turkey on the dining room table. Someone made the remark “that’s a big bird” which sent my son screaming from the room. Took some convincing it was not The Big Bird. And yes, we still chuckle over it.

    Adults raiding Halloween candy?

This year for the first time in a long while, I had the nicest, most polite group of trick-or-treaters. The usual little kids accompanied by adults, with all saying thank you. And then groups of older kids (middle and maybe high school) who were incredibly polite, knocked and said ”trick or...
