Easy from a PC - highlight "here", click on hyperlink widget, paste url value in field, ok.

Not so easy from android tablet
Hyperlink insert tool doesn't launch, only empty ][url][/url] beside the highlighted word is inserted.
Would be nice if android worked the same as PC . Don't know about iProducts.

As Bob says, if you're using the full message editor.  The hyperlink button is the leftmost in the second row of formatting buttons.  Have the full URL in the clipboard first.  Tip: hover your mouse pointer over each button to see what it does in a tooltip.  Most of the buttons will apply to whatever text you have selected in the editor window.

If you use the quick reply editor, as I do, you'll either have to manually insert the BBC code or use the BBC Code addon for Firefox that handles the BBC code for you.
