So i need to replace some damaged floor about a 2' x2' area under the vanity and back corner of my shower. I know the flooring is made of a thin wood base with foam board topped with 5/16 plywood. I want to know how the metal base/joist framework underneath is laid out. Is it a 12" square metal grid base or something similar? I want to know where to cut so I can reach solid metal. I can seem to find any Winnebago drawings for that.

I have removed the soft floor piece. The existing floor is 1/8” luan with foam and then a top layer of 5/16” for total thickness of 1 1/4”. I am gonna replace with 3/8” exterior plywood with 1/2” foam and 3/8”.

Have you found what caused the leak that did in the floor?
Yes, the previous owner had replaced the original shower door with an accordion fabric door. The water that collected in the bottom rail must have been slowly leaking for the past several years by the vanity area

I ended up using plywood built up to 1 1/4" . Putting everything back together now. Found a couple hairline cracks in the shower surround. The decorative clamshell design on the back has a hairline crack across the back on the wall side. We are going to put some expanding foam in the back side of the clam to stiffen it up so when wiping down the shower it doesn't flex. I will post some pictures in the next few days. I am replacing the accordion shower door with a Stoett retractable unit.
