Donner Pass took my transmission 🤣

I can always ride my bicycle 🚲 to work 😝🤣. I'd love an RV, but not at current prices!

    TT skirting for winter

Agree on not spending too much for this climate. $1000-1500 seems reasonable imo

    TT skirting for winter

I've lived in Sacramento several times over the last 20 years; it definitely does hit freezing temperatures several times during December and January. Snowed a few times too. I'm of the better safe than sorry type, so why not.

    TT skirting for winter

Maybe, but it's much more expensive than the EZ Snap. Looks like I'd be otd under $1500 with EZ Snap. Sacramento isn't super cold, but it definitely hits freezing and gets wee snow every once in a while. The underbelly of my trailer is enclosed, but I still think skirting is smart, since this...

    TT skirting for winter

We're going to be in the trailer through this winter (only) in Sacramento. I saw quite a few trailers in Nevada with this skirting. It's not cheap, but sounds like it would be worth it. Anyone have or is familiar with the EZ Snap Skirting and want to pitch in about it...

Donner Pass took my transmission 🤣

Well, we made it from Georgia to Sacramento, CA 🙌. My 20 yr old Ford Explorer Sport Trac did SO well, but I could tell she was tired after we came back down from Lake Cascade, Idaho. Even then, she didn't complain! But, oh Donner Pass did it! She got us to the top, and then cried a river 🤣...

Hwy 55 Boise to Cascade Lake, Idaho

We're doing a Tuesday to Tuesday, so hopefully traffic's a little lighter 🤞. Really stoked about our week at Waters Edge RV Resort!

Hwy 55 Boise to Cascade Lake, Idaho

We're heading to Cascade Lake next week on Hwy 55 out of Boise. The terrain looks scenic and mountainous, so planning on taking it quite slow. Has anyone pulled a rig on this route? Any rough spots and/or tips for this route? Thanks, Cat

2 questions: Furnace & battery switch location?

Thanks everyone. Found the furnace breaker; it's on. I will test the furnace as advised as soon as I fill a propane tank when we land in Sacramento 👍. Figured we couldn't use the microwave or AC on battery, so thanks for confirming that. Cheers, Car

2 questions: Furnace & battery switch location?

We're in Idaho for 3 weeks, and it's getting chilly at night sometimes. Thought it a good time to know how to use the furnace 😝. TT: 2021 Forest River Shasta 21CK Furnace: Dometic DFSD20121-18 BTU Thermostat: Dometic Model HFH-2000 Read all the manuals for the furnace and thermostat...
