So far we have a trip in June to North Cascades NP and Banff the first two weeks of September, and then some weekend trips.

I am guessing you will have to get a raised hitch connection to bring the tow bar from the motorhome to the truck closer in height to get as level as possible. A 3" delta seems to be my recall, but others may have more specific info. You might also check the manufacturer of your tow bar.

When we were still full-timing we had a residential refrigerator in our 5th wheel, traveled all over the country with no issues.

I agree with others who say add another 100 Ah battery. One 100ah battery is simply not enough. Alternatively, look at 1-lithium battery of 200-Ah or more.

We just had a RoadMaster Night Hawk tow bar installed and a question occurred to me when unhooking. Should the 7-pin plug at the motorhome going to the dingy be unplugged? I ask because there will be times when we will drive the motorhome without our cara and we always drive with our lights on...
