What Larry said. You'd need to pair it up with the correct receiver like Dish's pay as you go one. We're looking at doing that shortly since we ran into all the wifi/cell service issues in our trip around Florida recently. Ft. McCoy KOA is as close to being a dead zone as you can get. :/

I’m looking at the Dish Playmaker for tv duties as well. The ‘pay-as-you-go’ program is very attractive since we’re not full timers. We also subscribe to a few streaming services such as HBOMax for example for when Wi-Fi is available and reliable.

Siri, Google Assistant, Alexa, all listen in. Sad times.
