    Advice

I would think you have either a leak in that part of the system or valve that is leaky. I believe that the system needs to maintain pressure in the line for the slid to stay out. Check out www.hwhcorp.com and check out your system.

Advise on installing solar panels, what fastener to use?

Hi all I am installing solar panels on my 2006 Itasca Ellipse motorhome. I read John's write up on "Zamp solar panels installed" Great write up. My problem is my roof does have some areas where the top material has come loose. Not where I want to put the solar panels but in other areas. My...

What type of water pipes do I have in my 2006 Itasca ellipse

Just got back to my motorhome last night. Looked at the water pipes and they are PEX a. PEX-A is the most flexible of all PEX tubing types, has little or no coil memory and gives installer an ability to repair kinks with a heat gun. It has been in use for over 50 years (which is longer than...

What type of water pipes do I have in my 2006 Itasca ellipse

Hi all I am replacing my kitchen faucet, planning on cutting off the old fitting and using SharkBite to convert from pipes I have to a PEX fitting to hook up the new sink. I think I have polybutylene pipes but am having a hard time confirming that. SharkBite does have a fitting for transition...

Leveling system problem 2006 Itasca Ellipse

Problem Fixed I was reading the repair manual for the system and it stated if a single button on the panel was not working that it is likely the control board needs replacing. They don't make the boards any more but HWH does rebuild them. Sent it away to them and received it back 2 months...

    Winnebago Roof problems

When we first bought our motorhome (2006 Itasca Ellipse) I found that the calking was not lasting more then a year. I don't know why but maybe I have more movement in the roof then most rigs. And yes I was using the Caulking recommended by Winnebago. There were a few spots were the foam board...

    Hot water heater leaking

I was able to slid the heater out an inch without disconnecting the heat exchanger which gave me just enough room to get my arm up behind to find the leak. Its the top nylon 90 degree fitting on the back of the heater. Was able to tighten it up to the point where its only leaking 2 drops a...

    Hot water heater leaking

It is not under a bed and I don't think I want to cut a hole in the floor of the motorhome. I will just have to pull it out far enough to get at the fitting. Thanks
