Looking for a passenger side windshield

Of course it was recorded as a claim, because it was a claim. The point though, is that it didn't affect my rate at the next renewal.

Looking for a passenger side windshield

The installer that did my windshield used some sort of vibrating knife to remove the old glass. It seemed to make pretty quick work of the adhesive.

I should have added that Progressive paid every dime of the replacement cost, with no noticeable increase in my premiums.

Looking for a passenger side windshield

Unfortunately, salvage yards are usually hesitant to pull windshields due to the high incidence of breakage. New may be your best option. $600 plus shipping doesn't sound bad at all. The new windshields for our 2001 GBM Landau were $3700 each side installed.

    Food at the campground?

We've stayed at a number of parks over the years where local eateries would deliver meals to our site. Then there's been others like the Jonestown, PA KOA that has a store and deli on site that delivers meals like fried chicken, steak fries, etc. to your door.

    Residential refrigerators

The residential fridge in our Class A has about 30,000 miles on it with no problems. As said, spring bars are a big help in keeping things in place while under way, just as they were in our previous RV absorption fridge. When I installed our residential fridge, I slightly modified two double...

A little fun Florida Drivers TEST

NY State requires an 'R' endorsement on your non-CDL drivers license if the RV is over 26,000 pounds GVWR and/or forty (40) feet in length. There is a driving test, but no written test. When I turned in my Class A CDL, I asked about the RV endorsement, and they gave it to me with no test...

    Removing door for wheelchair access

This is how I would go about it: Remove the door first, probably a full length piano hinge with lots of screws. Then carefully remove all the trim and start prying back the thin paneling with a large screwdriver to remove it and reveal what framing is behind it. A sawzall should make short work...

    Do you have a Nickname?

I've been called "Dutch" since I was a small child because there was a cousin about my age in the family with the same given name, "Donald". My last name is of Dutch origin, so my maternal grandmother and grandfather started calling me "Dutch", and it stuck. Sometimes I hear someone call "Don"...

Veterans, "Military Service Records" NOT THE VA"

I was a few months into my second tour when my enlistment was up. The re-enlistment bonus I was offered by both the Army and the TLA I was TDY to were too much to resist.

Veterans, "Military Service Records" NOT THE VA"

It's 25% for combat vets... I also received combat pay in 1962-1965 while in Vietnam, plus hazardous duty incentive pay during my second and third tours. My MOS was 0009 (Special Assignment). My Vietnam service was listed on the DD-214 that I submitted to the town assessor.
