Living in an RV is not cheap. Your apprenticeship should be 4-5 years. Based on personal experience it would be my advice if you get the apprenticeship find a cheap one bedroom or efficiency apartment until you turn out as a journeyman. Then purchase your RV and become a traveling electrician.

Will your apprenticeship be in Fargo? If so living in an RV in the winter in Fargo may get a bit rough.
