Anyone thinking of getting a new knee?

I had both of mine done. Didn’t work too well. ROM is terrible. Am I better off with the new knees? It’s questionable.

Army Vet who's a soon to be apprentice electrician

There’s no time limit for medical care and VA home loans but there is for educational benefits. However there is a new program that extends the ten year time limit for education benefits for certain veterans to a lifetime benefit. Rene, you should contact an attorney that specializes in VA...

Living in an RV is not cheap. Your apprenticeship should be 4-5 years. Based on personal experience it would be my advice if you get the apprenticeship find a cheap one bedroom or efficiency apartment until you turn out as a journeyman. Then purchase your RV and become a traveling electrician.

Will your apprenticeship be in Fargo? If so living in an RV in the winter in Fargo may get a bit rough.

Cruise industry has gone the way of the RV industry

Yes I did. We have come to hate air travel. As you said tiny seats and terrible food. Yes.The cruise lines we can afford are all about the same; NCL, Costca, Carnival, MSC, Holland, Princess. We were willing to pay $1,000 a day but the upper crust in cruising can cost tens of thousands of...

Trains, Difference Between Europe and The US

I wonder how much of that is commuter rails. We have tracks running through our little town of Dover, DE but no passenger trains use them. At least none we’ve seen. You have to go to Wilmington to catch an Amtrak.

Trains, Difference Between Europe and The US

The only thing I can say is we visited London on many occasions and I can say with certainty that painted on many curbs in London is “Look Right”. Now it could be you were at a one way street. Or it could be the you found one of the only intersections without the warning...
