Won't the BMS prevent the charging of the battery when below freezing?Just make sure not to charge them if their internal temperature has dropped below freezing.
On my electric motorcycles, they are impossible to charge when below 32F. The BMS will shut off the charging when too hot or too cold. If it gets colder or hotter even than that, the bike will go into a limp mode for a while and then turn off the battery and then you're stuck where you are. Not many want to ride in such temps anyway.
So I assume the BMS in a LiFePO4 battery will do the same.
