He could have been kidnapped and his captors made him login here to make it look like everything is okay. For all we know poor Bill might be in the trunk of a 64 Chevy Impala crossing the Mexican border as we speak.

Did the Chevy have a 409? First time I went over 100 mph was with a supped up 409. What a ride. Two lane road with the telephone poles flipping past really quick. Speedometer said 140 mph.

No 409 or 427 or 327. It was heading to Mexico so it was a stock 283.

I had a 1960 Impala with a 283. Not much power, but it was a nice highway cruiser.

I had a 59 Impala convertible, 283 with 3 speed on the column. All red interior and exterior with a lack top. My best man had a 60 Impala automatic. I use to beat him all the time. That was a fun and fast car to drive. I wish I had it now.
