Changing a convertor

I need to change out an Arterra WF 8955 convertor. How difficult is it? Are the wires long enough to go from the old one to the new one? I have the ability if the wires reach fron old to new.

It is fairly straight forward, there are step by step youtube videos that will walk you through the process, though I would generally suggest upgrading to something better, Progressive Dynamics makes a drop in replacement unit for your 8955 see PD4600-Converter - Progressive Dynamics

Are you changing out the entire convertor or just the bottom 12 volt power supply and charger unit?

If just the charger, it is easy and just a few wires.

How could we possibly know since we have no idea what RV you have? In most cases the leads are long enough to reach but part of the question is also what you will replace it with?
