Don't have any feedback on that particular one, but most complaints stem from buyer misunderstandings rather than bad faith by the insurer. Those policies aren't like manufacturer warranties and don't cover anything like the whole RV or every possible type of failure. And the rules for authorizing repairs under the policy are always strict and must be followed to the letter. Pay attention to what the policy says and not the salesman's glowing words.

Before you buy any extended warranty, read the entire contract very carefully and make sure you understand exactly what you are buying. I suggest that you may benefit from reading this article, which is dated but it mostly still applies. Contracts that list what is not paid for and state that they will pay for all other repairs are exclusionary policies. The other choice is called inclusionary and lists what will be covered and do not pay for anything not specifically listed. I would only consider the first type.

and what was your experience?
What most people experience with extended warranties is surprise at what is NOT covered. Some examples:
  • The engine water pump fails and the engine overheats, causing internal damage. The repair insurance provides only a new water pump. Anything else is considered "consequential damage", which most policies exclude.
  • The shop has to order replacement parts and there is a separate shipping charge. Shipping or order processing charges are not covered.
  • Some parts are considered to wear out in normal use, e.g. things that have electric motors or mechanical movement. The cost of that part may be pro-rated for years of use.
  • The policy will pay at its own labor rate and parts price, regardless of what the shop actually charges. You are responsible for any overage.
  • Your refrigerator blows a fuse and the contents spoil before you can do anything about it. The policy pays only for a new fuse.
  • There is a blanket exclusion for just about any part of the RV body or interior. That's a LOT of your RV!
