I am staying at an rv park near Texas City and they are suggesting this place for fishing: Explore Texas City Fishing Pier Near Gulf Coast RV Park. Anyone know if there is good fishing on this dike/pier? Any tips or suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Best thing you can do is go to a local bait and tackle or go to the pier on a scouting mission and see how the locals are fishing, what kind of tackle they’re using, etc. And you’ll need a fishing license.
