Galveston Beach State Park

We will finally be trying out the new RV sites on the beach side of Galveston Beach State Park, and are curious about getting our heavy eBikes from the campground to the beach. Will the access be easy or is there a lot of loose sand that will make it tough to get the bikes down to the packed sand?

The reason for no responses is that the Beach side was recently completely redone. So very few people have any knowledge

I think one of the reasons the OP and others with similar requests don't get replies is they assume everyone knows what they are talking about. So, is Galveston Beach SP in Galveston, Texas? See what I mean?

Well he's not been back since posting so hopefully got his answer elsewhere.

We passed the SP about an hour ago. It is full of rv’s. Rv section seems to be on the west end. No idea about access to beach. Suggest you call Texas parks and wildlife for more information.
In years past they had beware of Rattlesnakes. Currently there is a lot of seaweed on the beach. We are are Stella Mare RV Park.
