I just made a post on another thread and after making it wanted to do a quick edit, and the "edit" button was gone. I guess my profile got hit with the virus too!

You have the requisite permissions, so I'm not sure why you didn't see the Edit button. But I see you have it back.

I guess my profile got hit with the virus too!

FWIW it wasn't a virus. Some changes/additions were made to our forum software in an attempt to address the spam we recently experienced, and it unexpectedly affected a number of bona fide long time members.
