Hello all! New owner and new to the forums.

I am working to repair the floor on our 2008 KV Sportmans' Slide Out. I have it set up on some jack and the slide out bars pulled in but I can't quite get what I'll need to do next. If anyone has experiance with this I'd love some advice. I'd like to take the whole floor out, repair the side that's damaged, wrap the whole floor in polyurethane fabric and then resecure it.

Thank you!

You have to physically remove the slide from the sidewall to replace the rotten floor. The slide is just a wooden box standing on its side, so you will be removing that side and putting in a new piece of wood. A fork lift or large rolling floor jack makes it fairly easy to pull the slide out after disconnecting, but it can be down with simpler tools if you have help.
