Don, how about southwestern New Mexico, I spent a few days around Glenwood, NM (one gas station town)

Yeah, I been there, but it doesn't count! I went up that road in my RV at late night many years ago.

I remember that gas station because there was a woman there with a very smashed up car. She ran into an Elk down the road a bit, just a few minutes before.
