hi hope everybody is enjoying 4th we just got back from lake george rv park terrible week between rain and smoke out side time was limited my question is i have 2001 35ft adventure on the way home i notticed my shifter lever was very loose why?? thank you

The obvious is a part is worn or broken, loose fastener or whatever. If you are the DIY type, take apart the dash area until you can view the mechanism.
