Starting battery replacement 2018 Intent 30R

any tips on replacing the starting battery? It looks like the only way in/out requires bench pressing the thing...no way it's coming out through the grill.

Google shows that's a class A. The battery's in front? Mine's under the steps. Though if your hood is anything like mine I would agree, the easiest path would probably be from underneath. Maybe suspend by the posts or grab handle/side tabs from the top? Nominal 45lbs, you should be able to press that... :)

so, it didn't turn out to be so difficult as I thought, once I got my rather large self under the rig, there is plenty of room to sit in front of the front wheel. I had to make access thru the "mud-flap" material that protects the back of the battery and other things from the wheel well.


I made 2 vertical cuts in the material, a bit wider than the battery, to allow access. After replacing the battery, I drilled a few holes in the material and "stitched" it back together with zip ties.(see attached photo)
