Valley of the Gods

There is a campground in Valley of Fire (state park, $14 no hookups or free if you're over 65 and a Nevada resident) and there are several in Lake Mead, no hookups in the NPS campgrounds, more in the concessionnaire operated parks. Or you can stay in Las Vegas and do a day trip to VOF.

Oops, you're right. I was giving her info on Valley of Fire. I believe Valley of the Gods has primitive camping or you can stop at nearby Goosenecks State Park which also has primitive camping.
