I have been kind of lazy recently.

So I am starting some new projects, many of them are replacements for things that I did to my old burned down RV.

For about the last month I have been "grazing' thru the Amazon site for ideas and placing orders. They are all here now and time to start installing.

1. Dash Cam with forward and rear views.

2. GPS.

3. TPMS.

4. DC to DC charger for chassis battery to coach Lithium battery.

5. Replacement side door latch with key, key pad, and key fob.

6. 120 volt shore power plug in connection with Progressive EMS inline with outside display.

7. Outside Scare lights on the corners.

8. Hazard and strobe light mounted on roof for emergency and alarm function.

9. Security alarm.

10. Toggle switches beside bed for the three items above.

11. Large air vents for rear battery storage compartment.

12. 12 volt Anderson outside plug for Macerator, Air Compresssor. and rear winch.

13. 120 volt outside outlet with cover for rear of RV.

14. Venturi roof vent covers.

15. LED tail lights.

16. Seat covers for front seats.

17. Front windshield cover.

18. Covers for recliners.

19. Trickle charger for chassis battery from 120 constant power.

20. Dash mounted extra 12 volt and ISB,C outlets.

I will post these later with pictures as I complete them.

Do yourself a favor and do only 1 project at a time. Get it 100% complete, including clean up of your tools and clean up of the camper. Then, start the next project and 100% complete it before starting the next.

There is nothing worse than have a half dozen projects hanging, no completed, and then being overwhelmed because there is simply too much going on at the same time.

Complete 1 thing, then start the next. Repeat until you've completed the entire list.

That is an interesting list of projects. It sure seems like a lot of security systems. Do you park in rough neighborhoods? I did several from your list and there are a few that I'd consider which I haven't done.

The vents are for Summer cooling and not related to venting off gassing like you might get from Lead Acid batteries.

They will also have clear plexiglass covers attached with Velcro for use in cold winter situations by blocking the vents. I did the same thing on my last system.

I also added fans at both ends of the 1200 A/H battery bank along with a fire extingusher.

I finally got back to your thread. That is an outstanding installation, and very professional in design and installation. Congratulations!
Now I understand the necessity of exterior vents. I had forgotten the basic principle, the result of work is heat.

The RV is currently stored off site so I have been slow to get started.

Mostly I have been opening boxes of parts and getting organized.

Yesterday, I completed number 5. Replacement of the entry door latch.

When I picked up the RV in December from Phoenix they or I misplaced the spare set of keys. I had also lost the spare keys for my Jeep in the fire with the old RV.

I was going to get replacement keys for the door latch but figured that I would get a better latch with a keypad, key fob and 4 regular keys.

The installation was pretty straight forward except for the striker plate. I eventually got it adjusted correctly.

Here is the link to the new entry latch from my go to source.

The next project is the new vents for the rear battery compartment.

I am taking the suggestion to just take on one project at a time.
