Highway vs All terrain tires for tuck

Thanks for all the input. Wet grass was an interesting discussion, lol. I will go ahead with all season. MY tire size is 275X65X20. I have used Michelin in past and alway happy with the performance. Michelin Defender LTX Platinum is a new tire released by Michelin (replaced LTX M/S...

Highway vs All terrain tires for tuck

I have a 2500 silverado 4x4 and need to change the tires. Original tire is all terrain good year. I tow my fifth wheel a few times a year, primarily on highway and when not towing, I do all my driving on paved roads. I hardly drive on gravel or dirt road. I leave in Florida, so no issue with...

EZ- Breeze Dometic bathroom Fan Replacement

Thanks for all the replies and recommendations. Ordered a Vortex II fan for replacement. I also noticed there were number of folks with similar crapy fan on Jayco RVs that had to be replaced. Very surprised Jayco even used such junky Dometic fan.

EZ- Breeze Dometic bathroom Fan Replacement

Thanks for the recommendation. I did find this model on Amazon. How did the mounting work with the old/existing bracket? looks like mine (old/existing one) has 4 screws in each corner that matches with the fixture above it, but the VortexII has two mounting holes in the center. Do I need to...

EZ- Breeze Dometic bathroom Fan Replacement

My bathroom vent fan bracket broke (assuming age and heat in Florida). My RV is 2020 Jayco Eagle. The fan is a Dometic EZ Breeze 600 that no longer is made. I want to avoid a complete replacement with a new model, as they require opening up the roof. I have seen a few replacement on line that...

    Bathroom sink geyser!

Similar thing happened to a friend of mine at the RV site. He had a faulty pressure regulator (was pretty old) and the water filter housing blow up (cracked at the base). Fortunately it was outside and he had not connected the hose to the RV yet. No damage to the RV, just had to replace the...

    Honda generator eu320i

No question that Honda generators are good products, however there is a price for that. There are other generators out there that I think do the job and very reliable at a lower cost. I purchased a WEN generator last year for less than half the price of Honda. It has worked great, Starts easy...

    Furnace Will not light

I guess the main problem was access and getting to the furnace, as there is no access door on the outside. Based on initial trouble shooting ,with all the good input provided above (LP and voltage OK, did not hear any clicking for the ignition or smell any gas), I will go ahead and replace the...

    Furnace Will not light

Thanks for all the input. Will star trouble shooting with the connectors and sail switch. As others had said above, looks like sail switch is a potential. Igniter will be the next one. Thanks and will let you guys know.

    Furnace Will not light

Was wondering if anyone experienced similar situation and has any input before if get too far into trouble shooting. Have a 2020 Jayco 5th wheel with DOMETIC DF series Furnace. When the temperature gets to the tight level on the thermostat, the furnace blower turns on fine, but the furnace...

Looking for input on 2021 Jayco Eagle 5th wheels.

Congratulations on your Jaco. I saw your post today and just wanted to let you know we have a Jayco 2020 Eagle and have not had any major issues. The paint in the front cab faded/discolored after 1.5 years and Jayco took care of it (repainted) under warranty. Hope you have fun with yours.

To slide or not to slide

I agree with the comments, no need for slider. Just FYI, I have a B&W companion for a 30ft 5th wheel, and very happy with it. Good luck.
