In addition to the other comments, stainless steel is not a good material for truck or auto bodies. It is not easy to form, therefore the angular look of the Tesla. Also modern vehicles partially rely on controlled crushing of the body for crash protection. Also no good with stainless. Then if you do get in a wreck, you pretty much have to have the vehicle totaled because it cannot be repaired.
