We just watched V for Vendetta.  DH loved it.  I hated it.

12 Monkeys is next on my list.  Does anyone have any new recommendations?

Ummmmmmmm, Analyze This, Analyze That...(2 separate movies) I still chuckle when thinking 'bout them, filthy language though. Why do I like? Billy Crystal, Robert DeNiro and Joe Viterelli... Any and all organized crime flicks i.e. The Godfather series, Casino, Goodfellas, The Untouchables, and St Valentines Day Massacre to name a few... and once again because of the stellar actors and story lines... But, hey, they're not for everyone.

Hate to admit it at my age, but I'm a comic book junkie.  As such, any and all Marvel Studios movies and shows, and the newer DC comics shows(Arrow, Supergirl, The Flash, and Legends of Tomorrow).
Netflix has 3 original series with ties to the Marvel movies, Jessica Jones, Daredevil(not the Affleck movie), and Luke Cage, that are pretty good too.

I have been hit and miss on NCIS for a number of years but always got 'lost' with what had happened before when I missed a few episodes.  So a few months ago I started with Season 1 Episode 1.  I'm now up to the middle of Season 10, and loving it.  It is kind of like a mega long movie because I know what happened before.  I'm really liking that you can now download episodes so when I  get to a good wifi signal I just download a few more episodes.  Netflix is REALLY worth the few dollars a month to me.

Mostly I'm posting here so I can find the above listed movies later...

Those in chat tonight already know anything with Bruce Willis is good in our house. Tonight's choice of the RED movies is always a favorite
National Treasure (Both)
Hunt for red October
Support your local Sheriff - Any comedy/western
Cowboys and aliens - Not into sci-Fi But these one drew me in.
The astronaut  farmer

When I watch a movie I look for 1 of 2 things either I want to laugh and enjoy some some special effects
OR
I want the movie to draw me in to the point that I can believe it did happen.

I'll admit it, I love to watch the Marvel superhero movies.  Lots of special effects and enough comedy to make you chuckle occasionally.
One of my favorite moments is in the first Avenger's movie when the Hulk and Captain America are standing there during a pause in the fighting and the Hulk just smacks Cap out of nowhere.

Well, the DW cancelled Netflix due to politics, but I really liked the series Longmier, I think we have watched all five seasons though.  Still looking for a replacement for Netflix.  Is Amazon Prime any good?

I have Amazon Prime for the free shipping.

The included movie selection is a little thin compared to Netflix.

Amazon Prime

I think it depends what you want to watch.

If you sign up for the monthly price then you will only lose the one month which I think is around $13.  That way you could see what is available.

From what I recall there are several good box sets and some movies.  You can also pay a nominal amount to watch some movies too.  We certainly made use of it during our 6 months.  I downloaded the box sets then cast them to our TV so we didn't need to stream them.

Here are a few of the things available on my UK Prime, some are similar to the US ones, you could look them up and see if you fancy any of them.....

Box Sets - The Marvelous Mrs Maisel, Vikings, The Grand Tour, Lucifer, Outlander, The Man in the High Castle, American Gods, Bosch, Sneaky Pete, Life in Pieces, Startup, Taken, Black Sails, Mr Robot, Goliath, Homecoming, Tom Clancy?s Jack Ryan, The Girlfriend Experience, All or Nothing ? The Dallas Cowboys, The Looming Tower

Movies - Suicide Squad, The Infiltrator, The Commuter, War Dogs, 12 Strong, The Take, Superbob, Molly?s Game, The Equalizer, Badmoms, The Post, The Holiday, The Legend of Tarazan, Escape Plan, Inception, The Rainmaker
